The clowns… The Zephaniah Chesterfield Project (or the ZCP) is one of the more deep projects— a LOT going on. It’s a band made of beings from different dimensions/realities that all came together in limbo (just behind the veil) and the reality jump to play gigs and bar-hop in all realities while on a tour and quest to find the purest form of BEING BEing Being. No, it gets better… There’s more about the band on their site but, long story short— the lead singer, Zephaniah Chesterfield, is a cartoon clown. His best friends are an insane but innocent hip hop head, Tyy (Flyy Tyy the drummer), who is a 1920’s style black and white cartoon ????. Also in the band is Bearnard (aka Slikk), a half Kodiac and half Panda bear who is the bassist and dj in the band. the three of them hung out in a traveling circus where Zeph and Tyy first started rapping and Slikk introduced them to jazz and other music and got them into learning instruments to take their artistry to another level. Zeph’s friend little byrd (Byrdo) would help them produce and write with them helping them to develop their skills, talent, and passion further. Slikk introduced them to the fourth member of the group, Charlie Jhayde (lead guitarist), who added more rock and punk and even some metal edge to the group. She has a bit of a sordid past. Her father is an anime’ vampire and her mother is an Ecuadorian guardian angel. Her father’s ties to the darker things have him searching for her to assume control of…. well no one cares about all of that—POINT IS… they’re a band… they travel around… there’s a comic, videos, a diary/blog, memes…. there’s a bunch of stuff with this one. The multiverse this takes place in is what birthed the alternate version of this world (the one you’re reading this in) which is where Samurai Ruach the series takes place. This is the group that did “the android song…” for that project. They don’t care how what anyone thinks of them or how they sound because they do music for them, for the music, and for it all to shut up. All genres, all blended and doing whatever they want with them. Oh, and they live in a haunted insane asylum that has a prohibition speakeasy in the basement labyrinth, a random teleportation room that opens to whenever wherever it feels like when you open the door, a haunted colonial graveyard in the back yard but the little girl is cool, and a bellhop who does security… they had to get rid of their tour van driver “Not So Chatty Kathy” because it turns out she was a serial killer killing people while they’d go on gigs and no one knew… until.... Moving on….
