W.E.E.D. Radio: Wired Enlightening Entertaining Delivery Radio is a podcast series that’s more like a sitcom. There were multiple formats for the different radio shows, from talk shows, to skits, to regular pirate radio music formats. The crew consisted of DJ Lahoj, The Glitch of Glyphe’, and little byrd, along with whatever other antics and guests they felt like featuring. Having complete artistic and creative control over everything, it was a blank canvas wonderland, which was great to have such an open platform and be able to create, play, say, and do whatever you wanted. It allowed us to actually highlight artists we knew or heard about, some we’d just seen perform and talked to, and even test the waters (and our skills and talents) when it came to coming up with content in the form of our own drops, ads, and stories. The show actually started in the livingroom of one of the studio’s we had. We’d all sit around listening to music or beats that were just made, freestyling, and sharing stories and talking about trippy far out or “deep” subjects. There were a few times where DJ Lahoj would have story time telling of his own adventures which were out there on a Charlie Murphy (R.I.P.) level, and we thought to record some. Seeing how there were so many music artists around it only made sense to start laying some music and do a music show as well, and it grew from there. Computers being what they are, and mishaps being what they are, there were a lot of files that were lost. We’re still looking through old hard drives and computers trying to get things back. ALBUMS bro… ALBUMS… gone. Here’s whatever we could find from the smoky halls of W.E.E.D. Radio. Enjoy!
